NIMA RIGHT SIZE

Our weight loss programs are focused around the concept of Right Sizing . We believe this works not only in the corporate world but in our bodies.  Provided with ample nutrients, the correct ratio of vitamin replacement and essential fatty acids, our bodies will process and metabolize food the way it was intended. With this in mind we have developed plans that take traditional concepts of weight loss to the next level by custom tailoring it to each clients lifestyle, metabolic rates and most importantly nutritional status. 

What sets the RIGHT SIZE weight loss programs apart is the on-going support you receive from our clinical staff. You have individual counseling sessions to help start you on the right track to weight loss, monitor your progress, and adjust your diet and exercise plan to help you continue to achieve the results you want

The first consult is an overview of the programs followed by an individual analysis of body composition, diet, stress factors, family history and medical history. Laboratory tests are ordered including blood work to assess your metabolism and nutritional status. An Electrocardiogram (EKG) is performed.**

Clients then get directed to the appropriate plan for them based on their weight loss goals, medical history, vitamin and antioxidant levels and body type. 

Most importantly our programs hope to foster a culture that encourages self acceptance and a healthy lifestyle regardless of body size.

Program Structures: 

Option 1

A 12 week program which includes  an initial private consultation with on staff providers and a series of  optional weekly meetings. Meetings will be facilitated by appropriately trained personnel including a Life Coach, and physicians or Nurse Practitioners.

  • Patients will be enrolled in our online weight and lifestyle management plan.
  • Average weight loss depending on compliance is 1 - 2 pounds a week
  • Shopping lists, daily menus are provided as well as inspirational and motivational tools to help patients in reaching their goals.
  •  Animated exercise demonstrations help to encourage exercise  and to increase activity overall.
  • recommendation is made for specific vitamin and mineral supplements and nutraceuticals.

Option 2

  • An average 20 week program to lose 50-70 pounds 
  • mandatory weekly group sessions 
  • During the active weight loss phase the patient will consume 5 meal supplements per day, along with a nice selection of low glycemic fruits, vegetables, and a lean meat or seafood for a total of 800 - 1500 calories per day. Weight loss for this program averages 10-20 pounds per month depending on the adherence of the patient to the program. Patients are required to drink at least 2 quarts of water per day, and walk 4 times per week for thirty minutes each day.
  • motivational tools and articles are emailed to the patient  to hone the focus and improve compliance
  • After the patient has finished their initial active weight loss phase they will begin the 6 week slow transition off the meal supplements while increasing the amount of solid foods they have been eating. Emphasis is placed on establishing healthy, lifelong eating and activity patterns from day one.

The program is divided into 5 modules of 4 weekly sessions. Participants return for weekly lectures and discussions in small group settings and for 2 additional private consultations to review progress.
